The Trevor Sandiford Ltd fleet has added a Renault Truck to its ranks in the form of a T520 6×2.

In addition, the agriculture haulage specialist has a further T520 High 6×2 on order.

Dealer service, truck availability and previously positive experiences of Renault Trucks were the key drivers in the vehicle selection.

The T520, supplied by Sparks Commercial Services, features a number of bespoke items that make it fit for purpose.

For example, it is fitted with a 30ft Plowman’s Atlas livestock container with two decks and full lifting in separate sections.

Meanwhile, the new Renault Truck has an apt number plate for the job it’s been asked to do.

It will carry the TS55 MOO tag, joining stable mate TS55COW, a 2019 plate Renault Trucks T520 6×2.

Debbie Sandiford, co-owner at Trevor Sandiford Ltd, said it was important to get the right vehicle supplier.

Therefore, there was a lot of effort ensuring the Renault Truck was right for the business.

“As with every sector, business is tricky right now, especially with soaring costs,” she explained.

“Now, more than ever, we needed to ensure that any new vehicles added optimum value to the operation.

“Furthermore, we also needed the back-up and customer service from the dealer to be first class.

“We struggled to even get quotes from other manufacturers but Sparks Commercial Services was completely on the ball.”

Continuing, Sandiford praised salesman, Roger Millett for his efforts.

“Roger has been very approachable and particularly helpful during the past couple of difficult years.

“He kept us well informed on delivery dates.”

The latest T520 has been specified with a three piece bumper with steel corners for extra durability operating in farmyards.

The Renault Truck also features roof-mounted twin air horns and dealer-supplied light bar with spotlights.

Finally, there’s also four-point cab air-suspension with a ride height control system.
