As part of a fleet renewal, a Woody’s Express delivery from Asset Alliance will be MAN and Iveco vehicles. 

Specifically, the operator is adding four MAN TGX 26.510 6×2 tractor units with a mix of GX and GM cabs to its fleet.

Furthermore, Asset Alliance will supply an 18-tonne Iveco Eurocargo curtainsider.

Woody’s Express was impressed with the quality of service it had experienced since 2018.  

Therefore, Asset Alliance was the first choice for the latest Woody’s Express delivery. 

In addition, six Dennison trailers have been ordered by the operator.

The owner of Woody’s Express, David ‘Woody’ Wood, was impressed with a tailored approach.

In addition, he liked the ability to rapidly source trucks and trailers.

The new assets, will be in operation six days every week. 

The trucks will be part of a trunking service with daily runs between three sites in Stornoway, Inverness and Glasgow,
