Prometeon Tyre Group has announced its continued partnership with Martin Macík Jr. for the 2025 Dakar Rally. After a triumphant win in 2024, Macík Jr. will defend his title with the support of Prometeon’s advanced S02 Rally tyres. The Czech MM Technology team will field six trucks equipped with the latest tyres, designed to handle the unforgiving terrains of Dakar.
The rally begins on 3 January 2025 and spans 12 grueling stages. Competitors will navigate harsh conditions, from desert sand and mud to rocky trails, pushing vehicles and tyres to their limits. Prometeon’s Series 02 tyres, including the S02 Rally, are tailored for such challenges. They feature reinforced sidewalls to resist high-impact forces, optimised tread for superior traction, and advanced compounds that perform across extreme temperatures.
At a press event in Prague, MM Technology revealed striking new designs for their trucks, helmets, and racing suits, all featuring Prometeon branding in black, white, and dark blue. Martin Macík Jr. expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: “Prometeon tyres have already proven their reliability and high performance. With the extreme conditions of Dakar, we know we can count on cutting-edge technology.”
