Livestock transportation specialist, Harry George Haulage, has added a new Renault Trucks T520 6×2 rigid to its fleet.
The Somerset-based operator now has nine vehicles and they are all from the French manufacturer.
Specifically, excellent dealer service was the main reason for the new addition.
The T520 rigid is supplied by Sparks Commercial Services and has a Ploughman Atlas livestock container with a number of essential features.
For example, it boasts three hydraulic lifting decks and a hydraulic lifting roof.
In addition, there’s a hydraulic rear door for loading, fans and variable floor heights for different animals.
In other words, the new Renault is perfectly suited to moving and handling cattle, sheep and pig livestock.
Meanwhile, Harry George Haulage also operates three other new Renault T High tractor units.
The latest vehicle was selected due to performance, but also service from the approved dealer, A E George Commercials.
Director Harry George explained why it was rated so highly.
“Keeping our vehicles moving and minimising down time is key for our business,” he said.
“We find Renault Trucks to be extremely reliable and any issues that do arise, they are quickly sorted.”
Helpfully, the local dealer is located on the same site as the livestock specialist.
Continuing, George said: “Our investment in the latest vehicle technologies demonstrates our commitment to delivering livestock safely and efficiently.”
Therefore, he added, it means “total peace of mind” for customers.
The new Renault T520 comes with four-point cab air suspension and Alcoa Dura-Bright aluminium wheels.
Furthermore, front air suspension, leather steering wheel, and luxury driver’s seat help driver comfort.
“We started out with three trucks and now, because we’ve built up a solid reputation, we’ve expanded the fleet to nine,” explained George.
“Importantly, our eight drivers are happy and we don’t hear any complaints!”
