Brian Currie has opened a parts and service service centre in Daventry under the TRP Service Plus name.
Traditionally a DAF Trucks dealer group, the Milton Keynes-based company is welcoming all makes of truck.
Brian Currie currently has sites in Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford and Irthlingborough.
Interestingly, the new Brian Currie Daventry Truck & Trailer is the first TRP Service Plus location in the country catering to all truck manufacturers.
As well as trucks, the service centre welcomes trailers and tankers. Therefore, Brian Currie hopes to attract the business of a lot of mixed fleets in the area.
The facility in Daventry was acquired from Volvo Truck & Bus and has been completely refurbished.
Therefore, the site now offers a six-bay workshop and separate parts areas and office space.
DAF Trucks’ dealer network is watching the performance of the new service centre with interest.
Hopefully, it will lead to further TRP Service Plus sites around the UK and Ireland, further boosting the service centre network.
“Daventry has been on our wish list for some time,” said Tom Osborne, joint managing director at Brian Currie.
“We already know our mixed-fleet customers want a dedicated all-makes parts and service offering under one roof.
In addition, he stated that the facility “ticks a lot of boxes”.
“With the easing of covid restrictions in sight, we’re looking forward to welcoming many new operators through the doors.”
There are now more than 90,000 items in the TRP parts range. The products cover all makes of HGV, LCV, trailer, tanker and workshop consumables.
In addition, TRP offers vendor-branded parts, with all parts covered by full DAF warranty.
