Charging stations ranging from 20kW to 360kW have been unveiled by DAF Trucks, provided by parent company PACCAR.
In addition, mobile chargers with outputs from 24kW up to 40kW are also available to provide maximum flexibility.
The 20kW to 50kW PACCAR chargers support the daily operations of a truck that can be charged during the evening or at night.
Meanwhile, the 120kW and 180kW charging stations are aimed at fleets operating electric vehicles on multiple routes.
Importantly, the 180kW unit provides the power to charge most truck types in less than three hours.
Finally, the most powerful charger – offering 350kW – is the ultra-fast option.
It can charge vehicles at full rated power in less than two hours or fast charge two vehicles simultaneously.
The mobile chargers are ideal for road side assistance or in workshops, where maximum flexibility is needed in the charging infrastructure.
DAF and its partners are handling the integration of the chargers with electric trucks.
In addition, they will also be responsible for the charging hardware and the network software.
Where needed, partners will conduct site assessments, energy modelling and engineering at the customers premises.

Customers can purchase the PACCAR chargers from DAF dealers and TRP store locations.
