As 2024 comes to a close, the team at Apex Networks reflects on a successful year of growth and innovation, particularly within the vehicle recovery industry. The company has made great strides, welcoming more recovery operators to the platform and introducing new features that have helped improve their operations.
Highlights of 2024
This year, Apex Networks saw a notable increase in users, with over 80 new RMS users and more than 50 RMS Lite users joining the platform. Most of this growth came from the vehicle recovery sector, where operators recognised the value of RMS in streamlining operations, improving job allocation, and boosting efficiency. Additionally, industries like mobile tyre fitters and locksmiths have also begun using RMS, marking the beginning of further expansion into these sectors.
Nicky Fenton, Marketing Manager at Apex Networks, commented, “The vehicle recovery industry has always been our focus, and it’s been fantastic to see so many operators join the platform this year. RMS continues to help recovery operators work more efficiently, and we’re excited to see the impact it’s having.”
Alongside the influx of new users, Apex Networks introduced several updates to RMS, including the new module for centralised compliance and license management. These developments allow users to maximise their subscriptions, streamline their operations, and deliver better service to their customers.
What’s coming in 2025
Looking ahead, Apex Networks has exciting plans for 2025 that will continue to benefit the vehicle recovery industry:
- Safety Cloud Integration: Finalising integration with Safety Cloud, set for early 2025, to provide real-time safety alerts for faster, safer operations.
- RMS App for iPhone: The RMS app for iPhone, launching in late 2025, will offer recovery operators more flexibility to manage jobs from anywhere.
- ANS Standards Update: In 2025, Apex will update the ANS network codes to ensure greater consistency across the industry.
2024 has been a year of growth, and the team at Apex Networks is excited about what’s ahead. With more users, new features, and a continued commitment to the vehicle recovery industry, Apex will continue to support RMS customers.
The Apex Networks team wishes everyone a Happy New Year and looks forward to a successful 2025.
