The ‘Best of the Best’ MAN retailers have been announced by the manufacturer at its 2021 Dealer of the Year Awards.
The Awards are held annually recognise and celebrate the achievements of the MAN dealer network.
Winners were decided after a series of regular checks and measures showed they’d gone above and beyond.
Specifically, they delivered ‘constantly high standards’ across all business areas.
In addition, they were singled out for ‘outstanding levels of customer service’ and business efficiency.
Stefan Thyssen, managing director, MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd, congratulated the winners at the awards event.
“All involved have shown a great desire and willingness to strive for better business practices,” he said.
“These awards help us recognise the outstanding work the individual sites are delivering.
“At the same time, they celebrate and reward the teams for their commitment to exceptional customer service.”
MAN’s Parts Dealer of the Year was named as W.G. Davies, Swansea.
The Welsh outfit was praised for its ‘consistent drive and enthusiastic approach to improving their parts sales operation’.
Furthermore, its approach to parts campaigns, part stock holding and excellent customer service, had paid dividends, said MAN.
Picking up the award was Roger Davies, managing director W.G. Davies Swansea.
“Across the entire team the commitment shown to supporting our customers and their vehicles is nothing short of amazing,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Service Dealer of the Year award also went to went to W.G. Davies.
The judges were impressed by investment in a new workshop.
As a result, the dealer’s high customer service levels had increased further.
Davies, who returned to the stage to collect another award, was delighted.
“Focussing on pure customer service is at the forefront of everything we do.
“Therefore, I’m both thrilled and delighted that the team has been recognised for their hard work.”
