Dennis Eagle has invested around £20,000 in new heavy-duty vehicle lifts from Halesowen-based SOMERSTOTALKARE.
The UK manufacturer of waste and recycling trucks has taken delivery of a set of six S6ng mobile column lifts for its new Winchester depot after securing a contract to supply and maintain vehicles used for waste collection and recycling across two local authority areas.
Serving the Winchester and Portsmouth councils, the depot will maintain a total of 49 new trucks, including the latest Elite 2 Euro 5 6×2 RS vehicles – and the new lift is set to play a vital role in the operation.
Brian Young, national account manager at SOMERSTOTAL-KARE, said: “The new equipment provides a reliable and flexible vehicle lifting solution that’ll help the depot maintain an efficient operation that ensures trucks are back in service as quickly as possible.”
Alongside the investment in Winchester, Dennis Eagle has also ordered two sets of lifts for its Kensington Depot, which services a fleet of 80 vehicles.
