Customer service described as ‘outstanding’ is the main reason Inter-Haul keeps coming back to MAN trucks.
The Pontypridd-based company now operates 41 MAN trucks, including some new additions.
For example, the operator has recently taken delivery of 11 vehicles including two MAN three-axle 26-tonne TGS rigids.
In addition, six TGX 26.470 tractors and three Individual Lion S 26.510’s have joined the fleet.
Specifically, these vehicles will work across both sites and will help further grow Inter-Hauls comprehensive logistics offering.
Mark Waite, Managing Director Inter-Haul, was quick to praise the vehicles as well as the manufacturer.
“We very much enjoy the partnering and trusted relationship we’ve formed with MAN Truck & Bus,” he said.
Continuing, he also highlighted MAN’s local sales executive David Hopkins and the local dealership, WG Davies of Cardiff.
“Over the years we’ve found WG Davies’s approach to be very much based on offering high levels of focussed and tailored customer service,” added Waite.
“Roger Davies and the entire Cardiff team totally understand the needs of our business.
“Furthermore, when we look at new vehicles, we return to MAN and WG Davies time after time, it’s a simple decision.”
The Inter-Haul fleet is multifunctional and is made up of 13-tonne rigids, 18-tonne rigids, 26-tonne rigids and 44-tonne tractor units.
Importantly, the tractor units pull 13.6- and 15.6-metre semi-trailers both in single and double deck configuration.
In addition, many of them fitted with bespoke tail lifts for their Contract Logistics Division.
As well as the customer service, the spec of the trucks has to be just right for Inter-Haul.
For example, the new vehicles are all powered by MAN’s latest generation Euro6D compliant, low consumption engines.
Meanwhile, a whole host of safety features are also included.
