Gloucestershire-based Andy Lee Transport Ltd has a new truck.
However, the vehicle looks more at home on the track than on the tarmac.
Specifically, the company is now owner of the UK’s first T01 Racing Special Used Truck Edition from Renault Trucks.
The vehicle has been redesigned by the team at Renault Trucks’ Halle du Design.
Furthermore, the Range T480 6×2 tractor unit has been reconditioned by Used Truck by Renault Trucks.
The T01 joins 12 other used trucks from Renault in the 28-strong Andy Lee Transport fleet.
Managing director, Andy Lee, is delighted with his new addition.
“As a family of motor racing enthusiasts, we have a long-standing affinity with motorsport,” he said.
“In fact, my son races F1 stock cars and I’ve been involved in motorsport since I was 16.
“Therefore, the T01 Racing Special appealed to us from the word go.”
Lee admits that the company likes to “stand out from the crowd” with its trucks.
“As a result, we wanted something a bit different again this time.
“The T01 Racing Special was the perfect new addition to our fleet.”
There are a number of highlights on the standout truck.
For example, the paintwork combines black, red and yellow on a white background.
In addition, exclusive reflective stickers, are affixed to the vehicle and the paintwork.
Meanwhile, the cab’s entry bars also feature the special flaming red and tangy yellow paint.
Importantly, all used Renault Trucks are given a 200 inspection points review before sale.
Following that, the vehicles are then refurbished with genuine parts.

Concluding, Lee said: “We wanted a truck that would turn heads.
“People always stop and comment; it’s a great ambassador for the brand.”
