HTC Greenford, the latest addition to the HTC Group, is now fully operational following a £2.7 million investment in its new facility. The dealership, which relocated from its previous Park Royal site, offers an upgraded service for truck operators in West London.
The move is part of HTC Group’s ongoing expansion, with Greenford joining nine other dealerships across London and the Home Counties. HTC Heathrow remains the local DAF Truck Centre for sales and service.
Expanded Facilities for Truck Operators
Spanning 47,000 sq. ft., HTC Greenford is three times the size of the former Park Royal site. The new facility features an 18-bay workshop, including ATF bays, two lift-bed brake testers, and a tachograph centre. These enhancements boost service efficiency and vehicle uptime for operators.
Parts stockholding has also been significantly expanded, improving availability and delivery speed. HTC Greenford’s prime location, just half a mile from the A40 and near the M40 and M25, ensures convenient access for customers.
Ready for the Future of EV Operations
HTC Greenford is prepared for the industry’s shift towards electrification. Infrastructure is being installed in line with the nationwide network of 34 DAF Electric Truck Centres. The site currently employs nine IMI Level-3 trained DAF technicians, ready to support electric vehicle (EV) operators.
The dealership has also created four additional technician roles, with plans to expand its workforce further.
Enhanced Customer and Employee Experience
The new Greenford facility has been designed with both customers and employees in mind. Large, open-plan offices and modern rest areas contribute to a positive working environment, while improved reception and waiting areas ensure a better experience for visitors.
David Codd, Aftersales Manager at HTC Greenford, said:
“Since opening last year, operators have responded enthusiastically to the new location, and we are now in full swing. Our new Greenford site represents a major investment in providing a seamless, one-stop-shop experience. With a state-of-the-art workshop, ATF inspection bays, a tachograph centre, and an optimised parts department, we’ve designed this site to maximise efficiency and vehicle uptime.”
He added:
“By working closely with the DAF optimisation team, we’ve streamlined our parts operation to support faster servicing and repairs. We’ve not only built a cutting-edge facility for customers but also created an outstanding workplace for our team.”
