The Glasgow-based distribution and warehousing business, Rhino Express has joined both the Pall-Ex and Fortec pallet networks as a new shareholder member.

Its expertise lies in moving technical, oversized, valuable and fragile equipment, with a company mission of providing unmatched supply chain support.

Rhino Express offers a range of services for customers, to streamline all logistical requirements into one place, offer warehousing and inventory management, time-critical transport and abnormal loads.

Explaining why they decided to join Pall-Ex Group as a shareholder member, Jim Murdoch, Managing Director at Rhino Express, comments: “Pall-Ex Group presented us with a great opportunity to grow and fill the gaps we had identified in our business. Building a strong customer base in our area is important to the business, and the Group’s partnership allows us to do this.

Located in Paisley, Rhino Express will be covering the Kilmarnock and Paisley postcodes in western and south-western Scotland.

By joining Pall-Ex Group, Rhino Express will gain access to a pallet distribution network comprising over 160 haulage companies all over the UK. Another commercial benefit is the additional pallet dimensions available with Pall-Ex and Fortec, the largest in the palletised freight distribution sector.

Rhino Express will be an appreciated addition to Pall-Ex Group’s Scotland Project, which aims to improve service levels and reduce costs associated with final mile delivery in the difficult landscape of Scotland.
