Denholm Environmental has added a Renault Trucks T480 High 6×2 and two T440 6x2s to its fleet, supplied by Renault Trucks Scotland.
Denholm’s current fleet runs across four locations, Invergordon, Inverurie, Grangemouth and Carlisle and includes 15 tractor units, 14 of which are Renault Trucks, as well as a mixed fleet of 30 rigid vacuum tankers of various chassis. The latest additions will be based out of the Grangemouth and Invergordon sites and will predominantly be utilised for tanker haulage and waste management work nationwide as well as occasional general haulage of Denholm Environmental’s own goods.
The T480 High is fitted with Alcoa Dura-Bright aluminium wheels, roof-mounted twin air horns and 6 spot light bar. Inside the cab, the T High features microwave, cab, 40L fridge, comfort air conditioning and leather steering wheel.
All three vehicles are specified with Eco pack including Optiroll and Optivision, which utilises stored road topography data to optimise gear selection and vehicle speed to reduce fuel consumption.
Commenting on the decision to add the new vehicles to the fleet, Brian Ritchie, Managing Director, Denholm Environmental Limited says: “Business has been reasonable throughout 2022 and we have continued to invest in line with our ambitious growth strategy to meet future expectations. As part of our ongoing investment, we renew our tractor units on a 5 yearly basis regardless of mileage and condition to keep our fleet tidy and modern.”
Brian continues: “We work to exacting standards to ensure that we meet our client’s needs, even in some of the most challenging and hostile environments, both on and offshore. It is therefore vital that our vehicles are up to the job. We’ve had several Renault Trucks rigids over the years, ranging from 2009 models up to our most recent additions and we’ve always been happy with the performance together with the exceptional maintenance service.”
