MAN has completed the acquisition of five new dealerships in Central England.
The news comes after the manufacturer announced the purchase of HRVS Group in January 2021.
As a result, MAN acquired five new sites and a customer workshop.
The dealerships are in Ripley, Stoke-on-Trent, Sheffield, Scunthorpe and Sleaford.
Meanwhile, the customer workshop is located in Burton upon Trent.
Furthermore, the new dealerships in central England will all be re-branded.
Specifically, they will all carry the ‘MAN Truck & Bus’ name.
As a result of the purchase, MAN’s branch network totals 21 service and sales sites.
David Littlejohn, head of branches UK at MAN, said the dealerships were integral to the dealer network.
“We’re very pleased and excited to be welcoming colleagues from across all the sites to the MAN Truck & Bus family.
“This acquisition is of major importance to our business.
It both strengthens our network footprint and further ensures our presence in several key strategic locations.”
David added: “Covering vast swathes of Central England, across Derbyshire, Staffordshire, South Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire, these five new MAN Truck & Bus sales and service locations will further improve and build upon MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd.’s high level of commercial vehicle focussed customer service.
“We look forward to meeting and working with customers and supporting them with a comprehensive offering of business-focused aftersales solutions and award-winning vehicles, trucks, vans, as well as bus and coach products” concluded David.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Holstead, depot manager at Sleaford, was quick to praise his team.
“The staff have shown great dedication to the MAN brand,” he said.
“Their loyalty to focus and deliver the MAN Customer First promise has shone through.
“The changes have proven immensely popular and there is a new air of positivity across the Sleaford site.”
