The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) has received its 100th new registration since the scheme became self-funded in February.
“We are delighted with this early success and we look forward to reaching further milestones,” said Anne Johnson, FORS operations director. “Our aim is to fully establish FORS as the single national standard for the industry.”
FORS was officially established as a nationwide scheme in February, and was created to enable operators throughout the UK to demonstrate their commitment to raising both operational and professional standards. FORS overseers said the uptake since the scheme became self-funded has been “remarkable”, demonstrating both the popularity of FORS and the demand for a single accreditation standard nationwide.
