Volvo Trucks has revealed its UK dealer network achieved a record-breaking MoT first-time pass rate (FTPR) of 96 per cent in 2014 – up 1.1 per cent over the previous year.
The Swedish manufacturer said its result was 13.9 per cent higher than the UK national FTPR for all makes, which currently stands at 82.1 per cent.
Volvo said its dealer network carried out a total of 18,299 MoT tests in 2014 – up 1.8 per cent over 2013. It also noted 44 Volvo dealerpoints, from Aberdeen to Walsall, achieved a first-time pass rate of 100 per cent during December 2014.
In the month of December, the overall MoT FTPR in Volvo’s dealer network was a 97 per cent. This was marginally less than the highest monthly figure of 97.4 per cent, which was achieved in January 2014.
Notable top achievers of 100 per cent FTPR in December included Crossroads, Birstall; Thomas Hardie Commercials, Deeside and Volvo Truck and Bus Centre East Anglia, Bardon.
