UK Truckcentre has been appointed the new Renault Truck Commercials service point in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.
UK Truckcentre will work with Renault Truck Commercials Chiltern, supporting customers in Hertfordshire, North London and Essex.
Renault Truck Commercials has recently opened service points in Cornwall (Launceston Truck Services) and Gloucester (South West Truck and Van).
In this instance, the UK Truckcentre’s 2.5 acre site is located close to the M1, M11 and M25.
In addition, it has a five-bay workshop, bodyshop, paintshop and tacho lane.
“The appointment of UK Truckcentre in Hoddesdon is a key part of our growth strategy,” said Con Rooney, managing director, Renault Truck Commercials.
“We’ve been impressed by UK Truckcentre’s progressive approach to growing our presence and supporting the brand,” he added.
Meanwhile, John Culora, managing director, UK Truckcentre, said he was excited to bring the Renault Trucks brand back to Hoddesdon.
“When considering a brand to partner with, Renault Trucks quickly became the clear option,” he said. “We have a mutual focus on customer service and experience as well as history in the region.”
Renault Trucks now has 73 dealers in the UK & Ireland, including the Hoddesdon service point.
However, Derek Leech, service market and retail development director at Renault Trucks UK, doesn’t want to stop there.
“We’re focused on strengthening our dealer network in key areas to maximise the potential,” he said. “The addition of UK Truckcentre to our network ensures that we will meet the demands of customers, existing and new.”
