Our sister publication Truckstop News has started its search for the Truck Stop of the Year 2017, in association with TomTom – and it needs your help to find it!

The paper’s annual competition seeks to find the country’s best truck stop, as voted for by you, the readers. But once again, it’s not only looking to crown the best all-round establishment – it also wants to single out the roadside pitstops that serve the best food, offer the best facilities and provide the best parking for the nation’s hard-working truckers.

Truckstop News needs you to vote for the truck stops you rate the highest in each of the separate categories – as well as letting it know which facility offers the best all-round range of services.

Truck stops are a crucial part of the British road transport industry, so we want to highlight the establishments that serve good and reasonably priced food; have clean showers and toilet facilities; offer ample, secure and quiet truck parking; run well-stocked shops; provide WIFI, fuel and AdBlue – basically, all things truck drivers require to stay comfortable and well-equipped while at work.

Once the votes have been collected and counted, a shortlist will be drawn up of eight establishments that received the most nominations. Then, the paper’s team of anonymous judges will be dispatched to scrutinise the contenders and decide on the final winners.

So don’t delay, vote today using the easy online form at www.transportcafe.co.uk/TSOTY or post in an entry form on printed in the paper, which can be picked up for free in truck stops and ferry terminals across the country.

Who knows, your favourite truck stop could soon be crowned the best in the country!
