The Newbury Showground played host to another fine array of commercial vehicles as southern operators took the weekend of May 27-28 off to showcase the best of their fleets.

The weather on the Saturday, the day we pitched up, was a little overcast – but at least it was warm and dry, and the crowds didn’t seem to mind!

Picking up the prize of Best Kept Single Operator Working Truck was Paul Hinchcliffe Transport’s DAF XF510, while Best Kept Company Owned Working Truck, Best Kept New Truck, Best Kept Rigid/Tipper and Best Kept Working Truck all went to FG Bond’s stonking Scania R450.

FG Bond also grabbed the Best Kept Fleet award, and Richardson’s Siberian Express FH16-750 won Best Custom & Paintwork.
